YT TUES 2.0 Tech Thread

Yes, but its tight ;)

The Tues 2.0 Pro fits, because the BOS VOID is smaler in the diameter, so the holding-arm have enough space to grab the down tube.
The Tues 2.0 Comp does not fit with the proride 591! The BOS STOY is larger in diameter because of the spring! But whit some small modifications, it also fits! Maybe i can take a picture later this day :)

I just received an email from YT telling that they don't ship to where I live.... :(
Guess I will have to buy Canyon again.

But isn't it strange that Canyon sends to Madeira but YT don't ? I mean they are both from germany and they must be using the same carriers, right ?

Try to get some deal with them, i. e. you organize the shipment by yourself.
Or even better: Come to germany, get a little bit of free time in a nice city and fly home with an awesome souvenir

What do you mean by organizing the shipment myself?
And going to Germany its impossible for me, the money I will have to spend to buy the bike, will make me and my family eat soup for some months. :o

Just send it to anybody from the board here + the shipping costs from germany to madeira.
Im sure you will find somebody who can help you in this case :daumen:

How can I trust someone from here? They will probably keep the bike for themselves.
More like they buy the bike and then I pay them and they ship the bike to me.
But if something doesnt work and I have to sent to guarranty? Its going to be a pain in the a**, dont you think ? Since many people had problems with the BOS fork and the E13 wheels.

There are companies who specialise in rerouting shipments. I know these exist for orders from usa to europe maybe thats possible for europe too. Yt ships to these guys in germany or another european country they ship to and they send it to you.

I don't know. It was just a suggestion because I heard of such companies for us->europe-sepcific transactions. Something like this:

https://bongous.com/

That company have really bad reviews so no go for me. But I've checked many others but they charge too much money for the shipping.

But it came to my mind that they said they dont ship to Madeira but maybe if I put my address as normal, they ship the bike to Portugal and then the carriers will see that the package is to Madeira and then they forward to me.

I've done this many times but I dont know if it will work with the bike.

P.S: I just checked the receipt of the canyon I bought 3 years ago and its like I said before, I choose portugal but in the address I put Madeira. Maybe it will work. :D

I think that Yt can't answer this question. You have to ask the shipping company and how they handle this.

This is what they said after I asked why they didn't ship to Madeira.

This is because when sending such big parcels from abroad to Madeira costs a lot more taxes and shipping.

If you want to bring it to Madeira yourself as a Portuguese citizen, it might be cheaper.
