Hello,
I am not German, so I will write in English. I hope you don't mind and my post will be constructive. I had Ground Control 3 in my bookmarks for a long time, but I bought a bit different bike. There was a great offer for
Orbea OIZ H20, so I took it. However, I switched from an old school 26er Scott Scale bike, I am very picky, and change of wheel size, geo it is quite shock for me. Firstly, I purchased this one (directly from factory, it is rather Skaut 4.0):

It has these days called "new geo". There were some disadvantages if the "new geo". Such bike is quitre unstable at low speeds, high rolling resistance, acceleration sucks. - I have the same impressions from YT IZZO Core 2.0 -
ineffective. Heavy, like driving a tank (16 kg) On the other hand, there were good things. Beside really good downhill performance, it was very comfortable, low pressure on hands. Damping was great, like riding on feathers - l liked it Because of tank driver feeling, I decided to switch to
Orbea OIZ 20 for wonderful 1860EUR from fahrrad.de . Its really, really effective in pedalling, acceleration is completely different from IZZO+CTM. I would say in cross country / long tracks 10-15% faster / more efficient. Its, like
Rose GC, shorter - more agile in steering. There is one thing I miss on OIZ - damping. There is not such feather sensation, its harder, position is more sporty, less comfy. So, my question is - is Ground Control something between IZZO Core 2 / CTM I linked and
Orbea Oiz H20 2023 ? The current price of 1999EUR for GC3 is... yummy. I am 180cm, 72kg, inseam of 82cm. Always used L sizes. I am not keen on having the latest geo - strongly subjective, trending thing.
