Hey, sorry I haven't answered sooner. It was the weekend here. I'll get back to you today.... Its 7am here and just woke up . I'll follow up with customer service about the emails too. We were shut down for holidays which may explain the lack of reply. Rest assured yous will get the support you need. Cheers B@GlowormLightsNZ
Hi Bruce, I hope you're able to give me some support. As mentioned above my battery pack failed. I sent a mail to Gloworm Support @ 23.12.2021 and another mail via the website some days ago. I'm sure I need a replacement for my battery as it's dead. But until now no answer.
Can you arrange a replacement for me?
It's a bit annoying being without a light for weeks now.
Hi Andi - I'll send you a message via Direct Message to avoid unnecessary chat on the thread. CheersSo, something new from my dead battery. As described above, the thing simply got stuck with hieroglyphics on the display. Then I asked luminous bikes and Gloworm support for an exchange after the tips from [USER = 599808] @GlowormLightsNZ [/ USER] to "wake up" the battery didn't work. To date, I have not received an answer to my 3 inquiries. OK, it was Christmas and the New Year, at some point the boys have to take a break. But no reaction at all? I don't find it really sparkling.
Well, the OLED display on the battery has been lit for over 3 weeks. Now the battery finally seems to be empty and the display was off yesterday. Strangely enough, it can now be recharged and the lamp works again. At least at home in the warm workshop. Because of the weather, I didn't have the opportunity to drive.
I am now curious whether I will get an answer again. Or wait for the software update which should appear on the 17th. But the whole thing is no longer really satisfactory for me. Also consider whether I should not simply give the lamp back to the dealer from whom I bought it.
None of that is a solution, because then I will no longer have any lighting. And if the battery gets stuck again, I can't wait 3 weeks until it is discharged and running again ...
Edit:
See the post below. Maybe everything will be fine after all.
Hi there and gloworm team, i got the same problem here...@GlowormLightsNZ Today unfortunately I was affected by a total fail of my G2. It has been working flawlessly since 11.10.2021. After my last ride I arrived at home with 32% capacity shown on the display of the battery. Today I left my house after successfully pairing the light with the remote. Switched it off waiting for sunset. Outside temperature was 10 degrees today. After 35 minutes of riding I wanted to turn the light on. Nothing happened! Only the lower rows of the battery display are working. The battery seems to be totally frozen at 31%. Putting the battery into the warm house and connecting it to the charger did not change anything. I think it‘s dead now?
Is there a possibility for a reset?
Edit:
Factory reset does not work. The light itself is working when connected to the power charger.

Hey TimHi there and gloworm team, i got the same problem here...
From my 2 mails to gloworm nz and greece....
i have a big problem with my XS G2.0 battery pack bought in 11/2021.
For my last ride I did charge it fully and did connect it to the light and remote o.k.
I then did decide to ride without the light as it was not dark yet.
I did power down the light via remote an did disconnect the battery and had it in my Backpack during the ride. No rain, +11°Celsius. I did ride it before in freezing cold temps before without any problem ...
Later that ride, when trying to connect the light, it did not power up. The battery oled is showing (3 days) its battery “block” design showing it is fully charged constantly(!).
The headlight unit didn´t react (green/blue/red button) at all.
Nor did connecting the charger or app do any difference.
The fully charged blocks on the battery are there constantly as if the battery is “stuck” or freezed.
Factory reset or dead Charge did nothing either.
Greets, stay healthy, please help me out!
Tim
