Rückruf wegen Absturzgefahr

GoPro ruft alle bisher verkauften Modelle der kompakten Drohne Karma zurück: Die Drohne, die ab einem Preis von 869,99 € erhältlich ist, hat in einigen seltenen Fällen während des Fluges die Stromversorgung verloren und stürzte ab.

Seit dem 23. Oktober wurden 2.500 Drohnen verkauft, alle sind vom Rückruf betroffen. In den USA können die Drohnen direkt bei GoPro oder am Kaufort zurückgeben werden, Käufer erhalten den kompletten Verkaufspreis zurück. Es gibt derzeit noch keine aktualisierten Modelle – wer seine Karma zurückgibt, muss also warten, bis GoPro eine aktualisierte Version der Drohne liefern kann. Wie genau der Rückruf in Deutschland ablaufen wird, ist noch nicht bekannt.

Die Rückrufaktion kommt für GoPro direkt im wichtigen Weihnachtsgeschäft. Damit dürfte GoPro viel Kundschaft an die direkte Konkurrenz aus dem Hause DJI verlieren. Nachdem das vergangene Quartal bereits sehr schwach ausgefallen ist, dürfte sich das Unternehmen darauf verlassen haben, dass die neue Kamera und die Drohne das Geschäft ankurbeln. Schon nach den schwachen Quartalszahlen hatte das Papier letzte Woche stark an Wert verloren.
