Auf Rang drei kamen wie am Tag zuvor die beiden Südafrikanerinnen Hayley Preen und Biance Haw ins Ziel. - Erst wenige Tage vor dem Cape Epic entstand die Paarung aufgrund von Krankheiten der ursprünglich geplanten Partnerinnen. Nun scheinen die beiden auf dem besten Weg zu sein aufs Podium beim Cape Epic fahren zu können.

Alexis Skarda und Vera Looser hielten den Rückstand zu den beiden Gesamtführenden in Grenzen und festigten ihre zweite Position in der Gesamtwertung.

Die fünfte Etappe stellt die Königsetappe dar und fordert von den Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmern einiges ab. - 98 Kilometer und 2.850 Höhenmeter stehen auf dem Programm von Paar ins Lourensford Wine Estate.

In der zweiten Hälfte der Etappe konnten sich die beiden Gesamtführenden Sofia Gomez (vorne) und Annika Langvad (hinten) einmal mehr absetzen. - Mit 50 Sekunden Vorsprung sicherten sich die beiden letztlich den fünften Tageserfolg am fünften Renntag.

Für Andreas Seewald und Jakob Hartmann läuft das Cape Epic 2025 so gar nicht nach Plan. - In der Gesamtwertung liegen Seewald und Hartmann auf Rang 22, auf der vierten Etappe landeten die beiden Deutschen lediglich auf Rang 41.
