Hi guys!

I'm need info/catalogs about Centurion Cross Country. How is good bike/frame to build cyclocross/gravel/touring bike? Need more info about frame tubing (MT1 by Centurion).

P.S.Sorry about poor-quality photo.

Could/should be a '96 model that was originally equipped with STX-RC shimano groupset. On your picture, though, components look diffrent. MT1 by Centurion means double butted tubing, in '96 this was 0,9-0,6-0,9mm. I have a similiar Cross-Country (probably 97', 1-0,7-1mm thus thicker tubing) and like it alot: I feels relatively lightwight and nicely fits 700*43C tyres.

Hi Daniel and folks,

but there were two MT1 tube sets, if I am not wrong.

What is the difference between the Centurion MT1-Pro CrMo (for example Backfire Team '94) and the MT-1 (for example Cross Country SX '94)?

Best regards
Sven

Centurion MT1-Pro CrMo refers to an even thinner tubing - for the year '96 this would be 0,8-0,5-0,8 mm double butted tubing. Not sure if it was the same in the years before/after.

Edit: I just realized that I am using 43mm tyres, not 45mm as stated above. Sorry! Originally 42mm tyres were used.
