Fenetre-du-Durand Schnee???

Hallo Zusammen, möchte dieses WE mit meinem Bruder die Tour über das Fenetre du Durand machen...jetzt sind die Schneegrenzen zur Zeit recht niedrig. Hat jemand Info wie es mit dem Fenetre du Durand aussieht??? Machbar?? 1000Dank thomas

Hello Monastrol!

We passed the Fenêtre de Durand last Saturday, just after the low snowfalls from last week, and the pass was absolutely snow free ! Beautiful tour from Mauvoisin (good hotel), good road from dam to Alp Charmotane, then portage for 45min, then partly on the bike to the 2805m pass and part of the Italian side, then again poussage, and the end from Thoules to Etroubles completely on the bike!!! Great tour, with the opportunity to pick up the bus at 14:55 in Etroubles to bring you at the Grand-St-Bernard pass and to get back to the Wallis side. Hallo Monastrol,

ich denke, dass nicht die momentane Schneelage das Problem sein wird, sondern eher noch das was kommt Ich war dieses WE auf knapp 2800 und, da war etwas Schnee zwar vorhanden, aber kein Problem. Doch fürs Wochenende ist der Wetterbericht eher bescheiden, also würde ich schon mit etwas Schneematsch rechnen und vor allem warme Kleidung einpacken.

Hi zusammen, vielen Dank. Wir sind es letzte Woche gefahren. Von N nach S. Hat super geklappt. Ca. 100Hm mussten wir das Rad durch Schnee schieben, auf dem F. de Durand. Das Wetter hat gehalten. Zurueck über Gd. St. Bernard u. Col Mille. War klasse. Gruss & Danke thomas
